Organised by the Federation of Lebanese Engineers, ARCHMARATHON is an international event based on an unprecedented concept: an interactive platform uniting most of the actors in the fields of architecture and construction as well as investors and clients.

Organised by the Federation of Lebanese Engineers, ARCHMARATHON is an international event based on an unprecedented concept: an interactive platform uniting most of the actors in the fields of architecture and construction as well as investors and clients. 

ARCHMARATHON 2015 was held on 8, 9 et 10 October in Beirut. 3,800 visiting professionals attended this Arab and Mediterranean countries' Special Edition. 42 studios representing 15 countries, presented their own projects carefully, chosen from among the most significant in the world of international architecture over the past five years. An international jury chaired by Luca Molinari selected the winning entries. These were divided into 9 categories: Arts & Culture, Education Buildings, Workspaces, Religious Buildings, Hotel & Leisure, Private Housing, Mixed Tenure Housing & Buildings, Transport, Landscape & Public Spaces.

ARCHMARATHON 2015 Awards, a concept by Publiccom, Milan, is endorsed by the UIA, UMAR (Union of Mediterranean Architects) and OAA (Organisation of Arab Architects). The UIA was represented on the jury by Frédéric Ragot, UIA Council Member, and UMAR was represented by Fabian Llisterri, UIA Treasurer.
