The Prix Versailles held its World Awards Ceremony at UNESCO Headquarters on 12 September 2019.

The UIA has endorsed the past three editions of the Prix Versailles, which represents a unique effort to recognize the contribution of commercial architecture to society.
The winners of the fifth edition of the prize were honoured in the categories of Shops & Stores, Shopping Malls, Hotels, Restaurants, Passenger Stations, Campuses and Sports.
Jury Chair Francesco Bandarin reminded the audience gathered at UNESCO that “architecture and design can be at the cutting edge of an economy based on quality of life – to the benefit of many” and can express a diversity of styles.
